講座人簡介：Mary Clare Tuohy簡歷：1978年維吉尼亞聯(lián)邦大學(xué)音樂史與鋼琴本科畢業(yè)，獲學(xué)士學(xué)位。1981年，美國印第安納大學(xué)民俗學(xué)與音樂人類學(xué)系民間族藝術(shù)專業(yè)碩士畢業(yè)，獲碩士學(xué)位。1983年，美國維吉尼亞聯(lián)邦大學(xué)中國現(xiàn)代歷史與民間文學(xué)專業(yè)博士畢業(yè)，1988年，美國印第安納大學(xué)民俗學(xué)與音樂人類學(xué)系民間文藝與民族音樂專業(yè)畢業(yè)，獲雙博士學(xué)位。曾任美國民俗協(xié)會(huì)年會(huì)主席。美國印第安納大學(xué)民俗學(xué)與音樂人類學(xué)系，音樂人類學(xué)研究所主任，博士生導(dǎo)師。美國印第安納大學(xué)民俗學(xué)與音樂人類學(xué)系研究生招生委員會(huì)主席以及中美民俗學(xué)與非物質(zhì)文化遺產(chǎn)論壇顧問委員會(huì)委員等。
研究方向：音樂人類學(xué)、民俗學(xué)研究，民族志研究的理論與方法，學(xué)術(shù)史，非物質(zhì)遺產(chǎn)理論研究。民間音樂、旅游與文化、文化展示、文化政策、音樂與民族主義。中國的民俗和音樂、中國藝術(shù)與文化的多樣性、中國西北研究、西北花兒研究，中國的電影與音樂
