講座題目一:Exact Throughput Capacity Study on Aloha Mobile AdHoc Networks
講座時(shí)間:14:30-16:00
講座人:陳寅 博士
講座內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介:
Despite extensive research efforts on exploring the asymptotic capacity bounds formobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), the general exact throughput capacity study ofsuch networks still remains a technique challenge. As one step to go further onthe exact throughput capacity study for MANETs, we focus on the exact throughput capacity analysis on Aloha MANETs (A-MANETs). In particular, we first applied queuing theoretical analysis to establish a general formula for the capacity evaluation of an A-MANET based on the rate of successful transmissions (RST) per node and then conducted stochastic geometry analysis toevaluate the RST of the network. Exact expressions or efficient approximations (with exponentially decaying error) were obtained for the throughput capacity of A-MANETs under different networking assumptions. Extensive simulations were also conducted to verify the accuracy of our results.

Dr.Yin Chen is serving as an assistant professor in the graduate school of media and governance, Keio University. He received his B.S. and M.S. Degrees both in Computer Science from Xidian University, China in 2008 and 2011 and Ph.D.Degree in Systems Information Science from Future University Hakodate, Japan in2014, respectively. From Apr. to Oct. 2014, he was working as a postdoctoral researcher in Future University Hakodate. He is a member of IEEE. His research interests are in the wide area of wireless communication and networks. In particular, his current research is focused onthe modeling and performance evaluation of wireless networks based on queuing theory and stochastic geometry.
講座題目二:Physical layer security in wireless communication
講座時(shí)間:16:00-17:30
講座人:朱金曉 博士
講座內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介:
The inherent openness of wireless medium makes information security one of the most important and difficult problems in wireless networks. It is notable that information security in wireless networks is traditionally ensured by cryptography while recently by physical layer security (PLS), a distinct philosophy that has been studied to achieve everlasting secrecy. In this talk, we will talk about what is PLS, how can it achieve ever-lasting secrecy, the state-of-the-art of PLS, and our past research on this topic. More specifically, we will show our research on the performance of PLS under correlated-fading wiretap channel.
